An exception to the “kai” definition

19Dec08

So, it turns out that at least some kai animals (for instance, kai wildebeest) did not live at the time of the dinos.  I am no longer sure what “kai” means.  Something like “cool,” probably.

Speaking of “cool,” older son has announced that he never wants to hear the word “pretty” again.  “If you want to say something is pretty, tell me it is cool.”  Uuf.

Well, all I ever get from the oldest in this house is “O.M.G.!”. It’s quite troubling. He’s 8.
